Enjoying Sports on your Deck – Host A Fantasy Football Draft On Your Deck
Football season is just a few days away, which means it’s time to prepare for your fantasy football draft, If you have not already. There are many locations to host a draft from online to in a sports bar.
Online takes the fun out of a draft. Making fun of league members through a computer screen is not the same as it is face to face. I mean you can only type so fast, and then they may not even read it. Plus it takes away your time to prepare for your next draft pick.
A sports bar has TVs, food, and beer. Three major components for a great fantasy football draft, but it’s also LOUD! You wouldn’t be able to talk with league members without yelling, and you could easily become distracted from all the noise and make a wrong draft choice. Plus, the bar tab can really add up if you have a eight, twelve, or sixteen man league. That’s no way to start the season.
A prime location to host the fantasy football draft would be from the comfort of your very own deck. Not much planning would be required either. Bring your TV outside, or turn your house into a projection screen. Grill hot dogs and hamburgers, or serve finger foods such as chips and dip, pigs-in-a-blanket, small sandwiches, etc. Have one or two coolers available with beer and non-alcoholic drinks. Add in a few games like corn hole, and you’re good to go. Go here to find more creative ideas:
